For the manager or advisor who keeps the counter and the bays in rhythm.

Keep the phone moving without losing control of the schedule.

Anna is an answering service for auto repair shops that takes appointment requests, not bookings. She picks up the overflow and the after-hours calls, gets the whole story, and leaves every decision about your board to you.

Keep your shop’s number. Nothing goes on your schedule unless you put it there.

Overflow calls at the service counter

The phone doesn’t care what you’re in the middle of.

  • Monday at 7:45.

Three drop-offs at the counter, two techs waiting on assignments, and the phone ringing over all of it.

  • The approval call gets cut off.

You’re walking a customer through a brake-and-rotor estimate and line two lights up. Whichever one you pick, the other one waits.

  • The voicemail that costs three callbacks.

No vehicle, no symptom, no good time to reach them. Phone tag before you even know if it’s your kind of job.

  • Someone promised Tuesday.

A caller was told “sure, bring it in” by whoever grabbed the phone. Now Tuesday is overbooked and it’s your problem.

More calls aren’t the goal. The right work, arriving with the right information, at a pace the shop can handle, is.

Appointment requests, not bookings

Anna fills your inbox, not your board.

The schedule is a production plan, not a list of empty slots. So Anna doesn’t touch it. She takes down when the caller wants to come in, tells them the shop will confirm, and hands the decision to you.

Anna handles

The phone

  • Answering overflow and after-hours calls with your greeting

  • Getting the name, number, vehicle and concern
  • Writing down the day and time they’d like
  • Telling them the shop will call to confirm
  • Sending tow calls to the number you choose
  • Emailing you a summary and the full transcript
You keep

The schedule

  • Which bay, which tech, which day
  • Whether a job fits your shop at all
  • Every price and every diagnosis
  • The confirmation call to the customer
  • Adding it to your calendar the way you do now

Coming soon: Anna checking your real open times before she suggests one, and booking straight into your shop software.

Complete intake, every call

The callback starts with the answers.

Every request arrives the same way, whoever was busy when it came in. You can decide whether it’s a waiter, a drop-off or a job to pass on before you pick up the phone.

  • The concern in the caller’s own words. Anna never guesses at a diagnosis, so your tech starts from what the customer actually said.
  • No price promised, so there’s nothing to walk back at the counter.

Calls that need a person

The urgent ones still reach a human.

Tow calls go straight to the tow number you give Anna. Everything else gets handled, written up and emailed to you.

Forwarded to your tow number, and you get the email too
A caller who wants a person
Message taken and emailed to you
A customer asking about their car
Message taken so your advisor can call back with a real answer
A parts rep or vendor
Message taken, nobody pulled off the counter

Taking it to the owner?

Bring the numbers with you.

You know the call log better than anyone. Put in your shop’s numbers and show the owner what the phone is leaking. The example values only show how the math works.

Questions managers ask

Straight answers.

Will Anna put appointments on my schedule?
No. She takes down the day and time the caller wants and tells them the shop will confirm. You decide where it goes and call them back.
Can she see our open times?
Not yet. Checking your real availability before she suggests a time is coming soon. Until then, every appointment is a request you confirm.
Does it connect to Mitchell1, Tekmetric or our shop software?
Not yet. Today you get an email with a summary and transcript and add the appointment the way you do now. A direct connection to your shop software is coming with our Custom integrations plan.
What happens with tow-ins and no-starts?
Anna forwards tow calls to the number you set up for them, like your driver’s cell, and the shop still gets an email about the request.
Will she tell customers what’s wrong or what it’ll cost?
No. Anna never diagnoses and never quotes a price. She tells the caller your team will look at it and go over it with them.
Do we keep our phone number?
Yes. You forward your existing number to Anna when nobody picks up, after hours, or both.
Will customers know it’s an AI?
If they ask, yes. Anna tells them she’s an AI receptionist for your shop.
Does Anna speak Spanish?
Yes. When a caller speaks Spanish, Anna carries on the call in Spanish, so those customers get the same complete intake as everyone else.

Fewer interruptions. Better callbacks. Your schedule, your call.

Set Anna up yourself, or send this page to the owner. After a short setup, she’s answering your calls.
