Terms of service

The service

ShopsConnect.AI is operated by SHOPSCONNECT INC, 120 Jewel St, Santa Cruz, CA. We provide Anna, an AI voice receptionist, and a web platform to configure her, see the appointments she books, and manage your subscription. You configure Anna; we run her on your behalf according to that configuration.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for the accuracy of your setup: hours, services, capacity, escalation numbers and greeting. Anna follows what you publish.

You are responsible for complying with call-recording and text-messaging laws that apply to your shop, including keeping the recording disclosure on unless you have confirmed you may turn it off, and for how you use the caller information Anna collects.

You must not use the service for anything unlawful, or to make or receive calls unrelated to operating your shop.

What Anna will and will not do

Anna books appointments against the capacity rules you set and hands off calls that fall outside them. She does not quote prices or repair durations for diagnostic work, and she does not write into your shop-management software; appointments are presented for your confirmation. Anna is software and can make mistakes. You should review the confirmation queue and your dashboard regularly.

Text messages (SMS)

Program. ShopsConnect.AI sends booking-alert text messages to auto repair shops that use Anna. When a shop turns on “Text me each booking” during setup and enters a mobile number, we text that number each time Anna books an appointment. Each message has the caller’s name, the service, the date and time, and the number they called from.

Consent. By turning on booking texts and entering a mobile number, you agree to receive these texts from ShopsConnect.AI at that number. Consent is not a condition of purchase. You can turn texts off in setup at any time.

Frequency. Message frequency varies: one text per appointment Anna books.

Cost. Message and data rates may apply.

Opt out and help. Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts; you will get one message confirming you are unsubscribed. Reply HELP for help, or email hq@shopsconnect.ai.

Carriers. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Subscription, term and renewal

Plans are billed monthly at the price shown at signup, for the term stated in your agreement. Your agreement renews automatically for successive terms under the same conditions unless cancelled as described below. Plan prices are locked for your current term.

Each plan includes a monthly allowance of answered calls. Calls where Anna did nothing (wrong numbers, robocalls and very short hang-ups) do not count. Additional calls are billed at the published overage rate. We do not cut off service automatically for exceeding an allowance.

Cancellation

You may cancel from your dashboard with the notice period stated in your agreement. Service continues, and you are billed, through the end of the notice period.

Payment

Payments are processed by our payment provider through its hosted pages. If a payment fails we will retry and notify you; if it remains unpaid we may pause Anna after notice, and a person will contact you before we do.

Data

Our privacy policy explains what we collect and how we use it. You own your shop’s configuration and appointment data and can export it on request.

Availability and liability

We aim to keep Anna answering around the clock but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the fees you paid in the preceding month, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including a missed appointment or a call Anna handled incorrectly.

Changes

We may update these terms; material changes are announced by email before they take effect. Continued use after that date is acceptance.
